40 Years of Democracy

In the context of celebrating the 40 years since the return of democracy of Argentina, Bellas Artes Cine presents four representative films from the past four decades. They have in common being both works of authorship and mass appeal; they are films that dared to portray our society and history without prejudice. Furthermore, even while adhering to the rules of cinematic genres, they serve as a showcase of the dangers that lurk within a society when it succumbs to its darkest tendencies.
