Nueve reinas (Nine Queens)

Nine Queens, from 1999, the debut of the late Fabián Bielinsky. The film narrates how, in a few hours, two Buenos Aires swindlers - notable works by Gastón Pauls and Ricardo Darín - must get hold of certain stamps and do a remarkable business with them. At the same time a comedy of manners, a police story and an odd couple film, it also shows how something perverse and dangerous hides beneath the surface of what is “normal”.
