Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union
The Instituto Cervantes Dublin presents a special cultural programme in celebration of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. This program of events will include film screenings, roundtable discussions, lectures and concerts, adding to the commemoration of important days such as International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and International Human Rights Day. Additionally, we will host the Mediterranean July series, whose activities, organized in collaboration with the Mediterranean countries, will showcase the diversity and richness of different cultures. In the same spirit of diversity and cultural dialogue, the ISLA Festival will focus on Spanish, Irish, and Hispanic literature. The on-day seminar, Ireland-Iberia & Ibero-America will focus on the history and connections between those cultures and countries. This activity is part of the events held at the Cervantes Institute in Dublin in honor of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union."
