Spanish Cinema: Past and Future

This program consists of the screening of eight Spanish films, four current and four historical ones, which are related to each other in pairs, establishing a dialogue between the present and the past of our cinematography. In this way, the thematic, narrative and formal constants within Spanish cinema can be shown, emphasizing the existence of a Spanish cinematographic tradition and cultural continuity. In addition, it is a good example to see the evolution of Spanish society, changes in tastes and openness towards new modes of expression. This cycle is curated by Luis E. Parés.
