Ibero-American Current Affairs Forum

Instituto Cervantes is proud to premiere the “Ibero-American Current Affairs Forum” program, a meeting point for renowned specialists in different fields of study, research, performance, culture, social affairs, politics, organised by Instituto Cervantes together with other Cultural Institutes of Ibero-American countries. The “Ibero-American Current Affairs Forums”, thoroughly designed as a succession of quarterly forums, will boast a star-studded cast of celebrities in their own fields. Each forum will showcase specialists from one of the 21 Spanishspeaking countries in the world and Brasil, making their Latin origin the binding link that joins them together. This brand new initiative from Instituto Cervantes will consist of a series of round table discussions with objective of: - Highlighting the trajectory of specialists’ studies or works in a specific country, - Paying tribute to renowned scholars or Latin culture, - Describing the challenges faced and extolling the achievements by the different participating countries. In essence, sharing the pride we all feel for our countries
