My Clavicle
Instituto Cervantes is collaborating in the presentation of the English translation of Clavícula by Marta Sanz (My Clavicle, translated by Katie King) on October 1 at the Greenlight bookstore in Brooklyn, with the participation of the author and writer Álvaro Enrigue.
The event is part of the Aljamía program, which brings together initiatives to promote Spanish-speaking authors translated into other languages. The name, taken from Arabic, referred to Spanish written in Arabic characters at the time of Don Quixote, and symbolizes the dialogue between languages and cultures that inspires the program.
