The Spanish Wave in Focus Wales 2023
The Spanish WaveThe Spanish Wave, Live Nation Spain's project for internationalising Spanish talent, will once again be present at the prestigious Welsh festival FOCUS WALES, which takes place this year from 4 to 6 May in the Welsh city of Wrexham. As an ambassador for the national emerging scene, the project will bring four of the most promising proposals from our music scene to the Welsh festival: Black Maracas, Guineu, Los Premios, and Valentinskka, who will perform at The Spanish Wave showcase on Friday, May 5th at Hope Street Church between 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. (local time). FOCUS WALES is a non-profit organization created to offer an annual event showcasing new music for the Welsh music industry. Its main work focuses on the international showcase festival held in various locations throughout the city of Wrexham each year, putting the focus of the music industry on the emerging talent that Wales has to offer the world, along with a selection of the best-emerging artists from around the world. FOCUS WALES 2023 will be the twelfth edition of the festival and will host over 15,000 people in the city, surpassing the attendance record of 2022 in a weekend full of events. There is no place like Wrexham during FOCUS WALES, as they present over 250 artists from around the world, filling a variety of music spaces and venues, using 20 stages, and organizing a full program of interactive industry sessions, artistic events, and film screenings throughout the festival.
