Black Maracas

Black Maracas The Spanish Wave

Black Maracas is a band that emerged from the creative restlessness of Adrián Martín a.k.a Dilly Child (vocalist and guitar), who began his journey by showcasing his acidic songs with three members of the Spanish band Los Nastys, who collaborated on the recording of the first LP. Self-produced and released in March 2019 under the name PREHISTORIC GHOST, and accompanied by a music video for the first single, "Crazy Maraca," this debut album premiered in Mondo Sonoro. Black Maracas' music is known for its blend of garage, psychedelia and darkness, with electric songs and strong changes. Throughout their career, they have played in numerous venues and festivals in Spain and Europe, including a tour of Portugal (Lisbon, Oporto, and Évora), the Rats Cup Festival in Biarritz, Zaragoza Psych Fest, Sharpe Festival 2021 in Bratislava, and more. In the middle of last year, they released their second LP, Disturbing Sound.
