Literary Translation Workshops

Translating is a way of reading.

We read the same text, but we produce different versions according to what we understand and feel when reading, and also according to the way we express ourselves, our creativity and the use that our version will have.

In the 2024 workshop cycle we invite you to reflect on the meaning of the original text, to share your translations and to debate them, based on a selection of texts from different genres, moments and authors such as Eduardo Galeano, Miqui Otero, Miguel Delibes y Fernando Fernán Gómez.

The workshop will be coordinated by Luz Comendador (librarian and translator).
