Female Narrators. Contemporary Short Films
Tania Porras y Lola MonteroThe production of short films has always been a source of creativity and inspiration for Spanish filmmakers who find in this format a place to tell stories and present characters that can rarely be seen in the formats of feature film or television fiction. Hand in hand with the Aguilar Film Festival, a reference festival in Castilian lands, we present a series dedicated to the production of Spanish filmmakers who have recently made the leap to feature films or who have broken into the short film scene with enormous force and strength. There are eight fictional short films that go through a map of protagonists, many of them female, who affirm the new women's agenda, in which empowerment and the reformulation of social and personal conflicts speak of a new world.
