Polvo somos

The premiere of the short film Cuerdas at this year's Cannes Film Festival clearly announces the creative maturity of the film director from Bilbao, Estibaliz Urresola, trained in the struggles of production. Since 2012, with the creation of her production company Sirimiri Films, she has been directing work that has already produced four shorts that demonstrate the ease with which she moves between the documentary gaze and the narrative solvency of fiction. With this, her second short film demonstrates her concern for the world of identity and family, which runs through all her work as a thematic line.
