One of the Spanish films of 2022 has been Cinco lobitos, Alauda Ruiz de Azúa's debut feature. Her career has been structured around short films with an efficient invoice that reveals her work in advertising, but also a narrative forcefulness that never leaves you indifferent. This short film materialises the story of the screenwriter Virginia Mosquera, who, as a mirror, shows a social and emotional reality from a parodic profile where no one is safe. Synopsis: One Thursday a month, Lucas, Río and Marcos get to play mus at Xabi's house, the perfect host. It seems like a normal game until Xabi confesses to them what he has had to be doing for the last month.
