Reading in Spanish
This year the Instituto Cervantes celebrates its 30th anniversary, we celebrate it by reading works related to the year 1991.
We will talk about Señora de rojo sobre fondo gris by Miguel Delibes, who was awarded the Prize for Spanish Literature in 1991. As well as El jinete polaco by Antonio Muñoz Molina, Planeta Award this year. We will chat about opinion articles published by Francisco Ayala, who that same year was awarded the Cervantes Prize, and about the book Galíndez by Vázquez Montalbán (Spanish Narrative Prize). We will also comment on works by two great authors who published that year: Te llamaré viernes by Almudena Grandes and El plan infinito by Isabel Allende.
