Tempranillo Stellar Reds

So many of Spain’s great red wines are made from Tempranillo, that this grape is identified with the country as a whole. However, a look at Spain’s wine map shows that with minor exceptions, the best Tempranillo-based wines come mostly from a relatively small area in northern Spain that stretches from Rioja to Toro, through Ribera del Duero plus some wines without appellation. In this tasting seminar we will blind taste some stellar Tempranillos from those areas.
