The Tempranillo Project III, Aging

Tempranillo is a grape that delivers young fruity wines with early appeal as well as reds with decades-long aging potential. For well over a century, the traditional Reservas from Rioja have proven their capacity to evolve and improve for decades. In the last fifty years, powerful, tannic and concentrated wines from Rioja, Ribera del Duero and Toro have joined the group. In this seminar we will examine the aging potential of the different styles of Tempranillo.
