The elements of wine: style
Along with soil, climate, and varieties, a few other elements play a fundamental role in the personality of a wine: winemaking techniques. Some have been inherited from historical practices; others are due to technological advances. Their use depends on tradition and the character the winemakers want to achieve in their wines. In some rare cases, even the winemaker's personality stands out in the style of the wines. This tasting seminar is devoted to those human and technical decisions that leave an unmistakable imprint on the style of wine.
