Bruno Atkinson is a filmmaker who works at the intersection of comedy and ecology, adopting a highly educational approach to issues that dominate today’s social agenda. In this project, commissioned by Ecologistas en Acción of Lanzarote, the director brings us closer to a very special ecosystem, where what seems like a barren landscape hides a network of species and traditions that urgently call for protection and conservation.

Synopsis: A grain of sand travels across the island of Lanzarote, uncovering the world of tourism and its dark side: the illegal extraction of sand.
