To enjoy wine at its best, a factor to consider is whether the wine will benefit from decanting or aeration. But both winemakers and consumers are split about their preferences. At the same time, only a few comparative tastings have been done regarding this issue. In this seminar, we will blind-taste wines subjected to different aeration times and methods to get a better insight into the evolution of wine once the bottle is open and the wine is served.
