2013: Ten years later

2013 has been hailed by the most important critics as the best year in Priorat’s history and the top Mediterranean areas of Spain by a wide margin. It’s also a good vintage in other areas of Spain, especially in the hands of the top wineries and winemakers. It’s also one of the very best in the history of Tuscan wines from Chianti to Brunello and an extraordinary year in Napa and Sonoma. After ten years, it is the perfect time to assess the evolution of this vintage, concentrating in wines from Priorat and other Mediterranean areas, and also including some of the best wines from other regions of Spain and the world.
