The creative evolution of Federico García Lorca through letters, interviews and statements
Tribuna de Hispanistas indios
Federico García Lorca was one of the famous writers who liked to write letters. With the passage of time, a large volume of these letters have been published, through which we understand how his ideas for writing poems, writing literary magazines and later doing theater evolved. He wrote great works such as Blood Wedding, Yerma and House of Bernarda Alba among others. Lorca took these works to Argentina where they were very well received by the public. In interviews in Uruguay and other places he talked about how the works were created, especially since he had an original concept of creating theater. For example, Mariana Pineda, his only political work, does not follow history but rather reveals a poetic mentality of the author that is simply innovative. The poet visited Cuba and highly praised Cuban theater. Apart from poems and theater, Lorca has written great prose. Lorca has to his credit speeches, tributes, talks, etc. which are very important in knowing the peerless author of the 21st century in Spain.
