Women Filmmakers: Spain and India
To mark International Women's Day, Women's History Month, and the Spain-India Dual Year, Instituto Cervantes New Delhi presents a new edition of the film series directed by women entitled “Women Filmmakers: Spain and India” with the aim of highlighting the work and perspective of women in audiovisual creation and the film industry.
This year, alongside the films El olivo (The Olive Tree) and El perro del hortelano (The Dog in the Manger) by Spanish directors Íciar Bollaín and Pilar Miró, two films directed by Indian directors Payal Kapadia (All We Imagine As Light) and Paromita Vohra (Working Girls) will be added to the program.
This series will be followed by a film forum coordinated by our teaching staff, where attendees will be able to discuss it and share their impressions.
