The Olive Tree
Screening of the film El olivo (The Olive Tree) as part of the celebration of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month. Synopsis: Alma is 20 years old and adores her grandfather, a man who hasn't spoken in years. When the old man also refuses to eat, the girl decides to recover the thousand-year-old tree that the family sold against her will. But to do so, she needs the help of her uncle, a victim of the crisis, her friend Rafa, and the entire village. The problem is knowing where in Europe the olive tree is located.
