Migration has been a prominent phenomenon in the 20th century and remains one in the 21st century. Latin American women authors have written a lot about this phenomenon, especially migration to the United States. Why do they leave? Is it just for the Latin American dream or is it something more? The talk will be based on the challenges of adapting to a new country and facing new culture and people. The talk will also focus on the role that home and memory play in the migration process. 


 About C. Siddharth

 C. Siddharth is a Spanish teacher at The Shri Ram School. He holds a M.Phil degree in Spanish from Jawaharlal Nehru University. He attended Spanish teacher training courses in Spain in 2017 and 2019. He is also a translator from Spanish to Hindi of the work of Ecuadorian writer Abdón Ubidia entitled Aavishranjan.
