In October 2025, we will celebrate our 24th edition, staying true to our initial commitment to quality cinema. Created in 2002 by Instituto Cervantes in Manila, the PELíCULA-PELIKULA film festival has grown year after year, challenge after challenge, to become the most important showcase for Spanish-language cinema in Southeast Asia. For this 24th edition, PELíCULA is once again committed to in-person screenings in the Philippines. That is our will: we have never hesitated to adapt and change to continue offering the best Spanish-language films. What remains unaltered is our commitment to quality cinema. From October 10 to 16, 2025, we invite you to join us on this adventure. Enjoy the festival, shared on the big screen!
