Cortos en femenino 2023

Cortos en femenino is the program organized annually by TRAMA, Coordinadora de Muestras y Festivales de Cine, Vídeo y Multimedia realizados por Mujeres, to give visibility to short films made by women in Spain. This year's selection brings together three of the winning films from the 2022 competition. Two fictions and an animated documentary piece make up this cinematographic ensemble that shows the interest of the filmmakers to continue reflecting through audiovisual creation on many of the debates that feminisms have put on the table. From formal proposals, both narrative and experimental, these three short films address issues such as gender identity, migration policies and functional diversity, highlighting the value of film language in relation to feminist activism.
