Benengeli 2024
Benengeli 2024, International Week of Literature in Spanish, is a festival organized by the Instituto Cervantes to promote literature in Spanish. It will take place in 12 centres of the Instituto Cervantes network, from the 10th to the 14th of June, 2024.
On June 11, at 2pm, Filipino novelist Dean Francis Alfar and Spanish writer Luis García Jambrina will discuss how combining science fiction, fantasy, history, and crime genres creates literatures that engage readers and explore the human condition. The discussion, titled "Genres to depict Chaos", will be moderated by writer and editor Andrea Pasion-Flores, and will take place in UP Vargas Museum.
