Benengeli 2024 in Manila. Genres to depict Chaos
Dean Alfar, a Filipino novelist, and Luis García Jambrina, a Spanish novelist and professor of literature at the University of Salamanca, will present in this colloquium their views on their work as storytellers and the way in which the combination of genres such as science fiction, fantasy, historical and criminal, gives rise to literatures that look into the abysses of the human condition. From their different cultural perspectives, they will provide reflections on the presence of the tragic and the humorous in works that always seek an accomplice dialogue with the readers.
