Don Antonio is beset by misery and debt. Faced with the need to care for and keep his daughter Leonor is doomed to try the most unexpected jobs, which however, do not last ... Until, at the proposal of his friend Mariano, get placed as a guard in a casino frequented for evildoers. Antonio ends up fortuitously frightening the thugs and receives for it a small capital, which finally must be defended by his own daughter.
