Literary Translation Workshops

Translating is a way of reading. We read the same text, but we each produce different translations according to our understanding and what we feel when we read. We also have our own way of expressing ourselves, our personal creativity and our consideration of the use to which our version will be put. In this workshop we will invite you to reflect on the meaning of the original text, to share your translations and to discuss them with authors such as Federico García Lorca, Garcilaso de la Vega among others. The workshop will be coordinated by Luz Comendador (librarian and translator)
