Since 2017, the Instituto Cervantes network has had an unmissable date with the crime novel, thanks to its event: Nero Giallo.
Hence this sixth opportunity in which the traditional event offers a varied landscape on the paths of the current noir novel. A landscape that has been expanding and from its original venue in the city of Rome, it covers Italy and now spreads to other language realities, as will be the case this year with English, thanks to the participation of the Manchester centre.
This Nero Giallo 2022 maintains its dual digital and face-to-face aspect while incorporating a young audience and exploring formats such as the transmission of narrative texts of crime novels specially created for the event.
Authors, booksellers and critics from Spain, Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba, Guatemala, the United Kingdom, Uruguay and Venezuela will take part in this new meeting and will reflect on the present and future of one of today's popular literary genres.
