Instituto Cervantes Manchester and Leeds Poetry's Club continues in October, reading poems by Spanish poet Rosalía de Castro.

Rosalía de Castro (1837-1885) was a Galician poet and novelist, considered one of the prominent poets of 19th-century Spanish literature, and a representative figure of the Rexurdimiento gallego. Among her extensive literary works, notable pieces include the poetry collection La Flor (1857), La hija del mar (1859), Ruinas (1886), and, most importantly, Cantares gallegos (1863).
