IberoDocs: Scotland's Ibero-American Documentary Film Festival
The 11th edition of IberoDocs – Scotland’s Ibero-American Documentary Film Festival reaffirms its commitment to promoting the cultures of Latin America, Spain, and Portugal through documentary cinema. From 10 to 28 September 2025, the cities of Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Dundee will host a diverse programme including screenings, exhibitions, workshops, live events, and spaces for dialogue. This year, the festival revolves around the themes of searching and the sea, exploring issues of identity, migration, belonging, and ecological reflection. The visual identity, created by Pilar Garcia de Leaniz, an award-winning Spanish illustrator based in Edinburgh, features sea creatures that transcend gender boundaries—echoing this year’s focus on fluidity and transformation.
