War

War Nick Chaffe

An army of viruses was preparing to attack the Earth of the young and innocent Sam. On the first day, the army managed to cross the Tonsil Gates unnoticed and go unnoticed among its inhabitants. On the second day, the viruses began to reproduce and attack. The guards of Sam's Earth, the leukocytes, called on the immune system for help, but most of them could not even recognize the enemy army.

Sam was feeling sick, his throat was very sore and he couldn't eat, so his mother took him to the doctor. The doctor diagnosed tonsillitis, a simple viral infection that would go away on its own in a matter of days.

The viral army was winning, setting fires everywhere that the white blood cells could not put out. On the fourth day, the leukocytes managed to gather more information about the viruses and began to be able to deal with them. On the fifth day things changed, and the viruses began to lose. Just as the war was about to end, another evil army arrived: the bacteria. The leukocytes were exhausted by the continuous battle, so they started to lose against the powerful bacteria. On the seventh day, new soldiers appeared and began to stand up to the viruses and bacteria. These soldiers were not part of the immune system, but they were protecting Sam; they were the antibiotics.

When Sam did not improve, they went back to the doctor, who ruled that Sam had also developed a bacterial infection and treated him with antibiotics.

Although they couldn't fight the viruses, they were killing the bacteria. By the ninth day, all the bacteria had been destroyed. The leukocytes had regained strength, and they were able to kill the viruses. They also learned how to defeat them, so that army could never defeat them. Sam's Earth had won.

Antibiotics were able to kill the bacteria, and Sam's immune system was able to destroy the viruses. Sam's fever broke and he began to feel better.
