FanCineQueer. Childhoods

The Instituto Cervantes joins the celebration of LGTBIQ+ culture by presenting a programme of short films co-organised with the Extremaduran festival FanCineQueer.

This online film series focuses on various stories that bring us closer to the everyday lives of children and young people from diverse backgrounds and conditions, who face life from a starting point dominated by questions and challenges in their gender definition.

The different formats and genres presented in this programme also speak to the narrative and aesthetic richness of this monographic-themed cinema, allowing its creators to address social vulnerability and the challenging search for identity that is always present during this period in everyone's life, especially for those who defy norms.
