Chicho: Spain’s Horror Maestro

As part of the collaboration with the Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematográficas de España, several programmes have been organised to present the work of the filmmakers awarded the Goya of Honour category, dedicated to professionals and creators with public and artistic recognition. In the 2019 edition of the awards, the work of Narciso 'Chicho' Ibáñez Serrador, a multifaceted person in the field of television, was recognised as a reference in the genre of cinema dedicated to suspense and terror.

The programme, which we will present in HOME Mánchester, will include his two feature films made for the cinema (La residencia and ¿Quién puede matar a un niño?) and one of the episodes of the series Historias para no dormir, which he made for RTVE: El asfalto.
