Benengeli 2021. International Week of Literature in Spanish

"Benengeli 2021. International Week of Literature in Spanish" is a festival that will focus on promoting literature in Spanish in English-speaking countries. In this first edition, we will trace a symbolic world tour through the centres of Manila, Manchester and New York on June 28, 29 and 30, 2021.

Videos and audios of interviews, podcasts and round tables in which different authors will offer us their reflections will be published during the three days of the festival on the YouTube channels of each of the three participating centres and on the Instituto Cervantes channel on iVoox. on the central theme of this edition: self-fiction and the self in literature. We will enjoy the participation of writers such as, among others, Antonio Muñoz Molina, Andrés Neuman or Lorenzo Silva, literary agents and translators from Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Spain, the United States, the Philippines, the United Kingdom or Venezuela.
