I confess that I have read

I confess that I have read Calamar Ediciones

"Benengeli 2021" opens with the Peruvian writer Fernando Iwasaki, who will introduce us to some authors in the Spanish language in twenty videos in each of which he will expose the most relevant aspects of the work and style of each author and their relationship with self-fiction.

With the semblance of contemporary authors, but also of past times, "I confess that I have read" is a journey to the present and the past of the best of the literature in Spanish: Sergio Pitol (Mexico), Gioconda Belli (Nicaragua), Augusto Monterroso (Guatemala), Ena Lucía Portela (Cuba), Juana Manuela Gorriti (Argentina), Hilda Mundy (Bolivia), Max Jiménez (Costa Rica), Rafael Bolívar Coronado (Venezuela), Jacinta Escudos (El Salvador), Carlos Wynter Melo ( Panama) and Ana Lydia Vega (Puerto Rico), among others, will be the protagonists of these videos, which will be published on the YouTube channels of the centres of Manila, Manchester and New York during the Festival.
