¡Viva! Spanish & Latin American Festival

The main Spanish and Latin American film festival in the UK offers a unique opportunity to enjoy films, documentaries, shorts and premieres. On this occasion, the festival will be infused with some serious fun, following the Spanish and Latin American cultural tradition of esperpento, which uses satire, the grotesque and dark humour to skewer the foibles of contemporary society. Once again, Instituto Cervantes is collaborating with Viva Festival, with the Cervantes Cafe hosting activities related to education and Spanish language, and an educational session for adults. As part of the festival programme, Instituto Cervantes Manchester will host an exhibition and screenings.
