Terceiro Sinal com José Celso Martinez Corrêa, by Brazilian director Sandra Delgado, is the fourth and final short film in the Brazilian short film program organized by the Instituto Cervantes in Los Angeles in collaboration with Brazil Screens.
Synopsis: A documentary about iconic Brazilian theater director José Celso Martinez Corrêa, founder of Teatro Oficina. The film captures Oficina's creative process in developing a theatrical work based on legendary actress Cacilda Becker.
Sandra Delgado is a documentary filmmaker, screenwriter, and visual artist from Brazil, currently based in Los Angeles. She studied Journalism (UFBA) and completed postgraduate work in Photography and Social Sciences. Her documentary work with Coletivo Viva Favela earned her multiple awards. She directed the TV series Terceiro Sinal (GNT), and is now developing Existi, a documentary on Marilena Ansaldi. Sandra is also the creator of Maria: The Outlaw Legend, released on Disney+ in 2025, and is writing her debut feature film.
