Short-film program

As the closing session of the Platinum Reels sub-cycle, the Instituto Cervantes in Los Angeles, in collaboration with the Brazil Screens collective, presents a session of Brazilian short films that offer a sample of the broad spectrum of Brazilian filmmaking today in a format-genre that, by definition, is one of the most creative of the Seventh Art. With themes that range from the cinematographic vision of the theatrical world, to the cinema of reflection on one's own life experience or the peculiarity of action cinema, young and established creators come together in this small anthology of four short films that sign the farewell of the cycle in anticipation of its return next year.
