Living nature
Still lifes flooded painting during the Baroque period. Their supposed stillness and elaborate staging served as a metaphor for the society of the time and represented traditions and customs. The people, the concept of the rural and its environment, the different possibilities of movement and the new codes of the image make this programme an example of Living Natures from which to rethink all these themes in the age of contemporary audiovisual media. Four proposals with a marked lyrical and poetic tone that take us on a dreamlike journey and require the complicity of those on the other side. Session presented and moderated by Argentine film director Sergio Bonacci Lapalma, aka Chapete, from Los Angeles.
