Contemporary visions. Latest trends in film and video in Spain

This programme presents a selection of film and video works based on various themes, offering a glimpse of the best independent and experimental films and contemporary video art produced in Spain. The term “contemporary” is understood to mean not only the most recent works, but also those that stray from the conventional to take formal risks and make a strong commitment to the issues addressed. Curated by Natalia and Enrique Piñuel from Playtime Audiovisuales, it is divided into four sessions whose thematic axes are the limits of the performing arts and cinema, concern for memory, new approaches to nature and political commitment.
