Sofía Ros and her accordion
Instituto Cervantes in London presents an accordion concert by Sofía Ros, winner of BBC Radio Scotland's Young Classical Musician of the Year 2025. Sofía Ros made her debut as a soloist with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and conductor Andrew Gourlay at Glasgow City Halls, performing Astor Piazzolla's Concierto Aconcagua. This recognition adds to a rapidly rising career that has established her as one of the most promising performers of classical accordion music on the international stage. This concert is part of the cultural programme of the Casa Abierta Festival, of which the Instituto Cervantes in London is a member.
