Open House Festival
Instituto Cervantes is participating in the Open House Festival by opening the doors of its centre and offering guided tours of the library, the auditorium and the collection of books by British travellers. The Open House Festival is a London festival that opens up and celebrates the city's architecture, special places and neighbourhoods, with open days and events in all 33 London boroughs. The programme will consist of free beginner-level classes, two Spanish sessions and one Basque session. In addition, at different times throughout the morning, there will be two performances: one by accordionist Sofía Ros, winner of the BBC Young Musician Award, and another by performer Patrica Langa, who will delight us with a performance of her work Queerolé - queer flamenco; as well as an installation by architect Fernando Molina, which will be on display in our Reina Sofía library.
