Cervantes Routes London: Memory of our Exiles
Instituto Cervantes London starts a new programme of guided tours that, under the generic name of “Cervantes Routes”, invites you to explore the geography of the British capital discovering the traces of the presence of the arts, culture, literature and history of Spain and Latin America through its characters and key figures of all time. In the first delivery in March, April and May, we propose two routes to discover emblematic places related to the exiled Spanish Protestants (16th century), Liberals (19th century) and Republicans (20th century). Throughout 2022 we will be expanding the catalogue of itineraries, which will take place on Saturday mornings, prepared and carried out by Milagros Dapena-Collopy (“Qualified Blue Badge London Tourist Guide”)
