Memory of our Exiles. Itinerary 1. New date

On this route, we will focus on our Religious Protestants (16th century), our Liberals (19th century) and our Republicans (20th century), by visiting landmark places related to these era’s. Manuel Chaves Nogales, Luis Gabriel Portillo, Josep Trueta, Esteban Salazar Chapela, Arturo Barea, Rafael Martínez Nadal, Antonio del Corro, and others. We will start in the intellectual quarter of Bloomsbury, and will continue through the legal quarter of Holborn, finally concluding at the Temple. Throughout this route of approximately two and a half hours, you will learn not only where they lived and worked, but also about the support they provided through their work to the British society during the Second World War, using the language of Cervantes as a common thread.
