Sixteenth to Eighteenth Century Spanish Connections at Middle Temple

On the occasion of Book Day, the Instituto Cervantes in collaboration with the Middle Temple Library is organising a guided tour of the Middle Temple Library by Renae Satterley, Ana Saez, lecturer at the University of Valladolid and UCL Hispanist Alexander Samson.

This exhibition celebrates Middle Temple Library's significant collection of sixteenth and seventeenth century books published in Spain, and includes some items from the Inn's Archive on the War of the Spanish Succession of 1701 - 1714. Some of our caption cards were written by Nicholas Ricardo, one of our 2024 work experience students.

The exhibition will run from January 2025 to April 2025 and can be visited during opening hours.
