Instituto Cervantes in Manchester and Leeds in partnership with the Association of Spanish Scientists in the United Kingdom (SRUK) organise an online talk to discuss the documentary La mujer que soñaba con números (Mirella R. Abrisqueta, 2020), the life of María Andresa Casamayor and the importance of the women in science. This documentary serves as a guide to reflect on the role of women in science and mathematics and how it has evolved throughout history.

A discussion with SRUK representatives such as David Ruiz Izuriaga and Elisabet Batllé, Spanish scientists dedicated to mathematics, and the director of the documentary Mirella R. Abrisqueta.
