As part of Women's Month, we’ll present a concert with Martirio, accompanied by the talented guitarist Raúl Rodríguez

The artists will explore the songs that have shaped their artistic journey, enriched by Rodríguez's arrangements. Their deep musical and personal connection allow for unexpected surprises and emotional resonance. United by their passion for popular music and its fusion with flamenco, they create a unique musical language, blending original compositions with interpretations of classic tunes

From blues to flamenco, bolero to tango, their repertoire spans diverse genres, delivering moments of pure emotion and intimacy. Drawing inspiration from their collaborative albums and paying homage to Chavela Vargas, they offer a captivating performance that transcends cultural boundaries, captivating audiences across Spain and Latin America, from prestigious theaters to bustling festivals and serene plazas.

Martirio: After being part of the group Jarcha in the 80s and later of Veneno, alongside Kiko Veneno and Pata Negra, in 1986 she released her first album, produced by K. Veneno and Teo Cardalda: Estoy mala. From there, she embarked on a career of constant evolution, pioneering in the recovery and updating of gems from Spanish and South American popular music."
