Women’s Month

We'll start with the screening of the documentary Untold Secret, followed by a discussion with its director, Teresa Lavina, and feminist researcher Pilar Iglesias. They will talk about the social and cultural connections between Spain and Ireland during the 20th century, at the Instituto Cervantes Dublin.

As a climax through music and song, artists Martirio and Raúl Rodríguez will offer a concert that delves into the cultural ties between Spain and Latin America through flamenco and a repertoire of women singers such as Chavela Vargas.
